Patch 0.17

New feature

  • Menu on phones: tap Menu at the top for every page and link

Patch 0.16

Improved

  • ZIP box folds to one line after a search (tap Change to edit it), so the hills show right away
  • Links are navy now, orange is just for Go and Directions. Shorter "Before you go" note
  • Hill pages show the snow grade and forecast too. Slopes button shows up once you zoom in

  • Cleaner look: map opens on Maine, simpler hill cards, bigger buttons, Sources folds up per hill
  • Full list moved next to the hill count. Phones: the list bar says Hide list / Show list now
  • Hill pages: Directions opens your maps app, See on map sits next to it. Top banner doesn't rotate anymore

  • Sled Run updates: campfires, upgrades, goals, basecamps, sound and more. Sled Run's patch notes now live in the game (What's new button on the start screen)

    • Share button on every hill. Opens your phone's share menu, or copies the link on a computer
    • Each hill has its own link preview picture now: name, town and steepness

  • Use my location to sort by distance, no ZIP needed. Only when you tap it, never saved

  • Steepness tags are color coded now, and the hill icons lose the colored square
  • Hills with no steepness grade ask for one: "Needs a grade" on the list, "Suggest a grade" on the hill page

Fixed

  • Directions now open the park by name, so a few hills route to a slightly different spot than before
  • Some pins moved onto their park
  • Added a simple visitor counter (no cookies, no personal info)
  • First time you tap Directions, a short note pops up (not affiliated, info is public). Shows once
